Use placeholders when sending reminders

Modified on Thu, 29 Jan at 3:51 PM

Placeholders are special references to invoice details or customer details that can be used in the e-mail text of invoice lay-outs or reminder lay-outs. A placeholder is always stated between square brackets. For example: [InvoiceNumber] refers to the invoice number and [Contact] refers to the name of the customer. On the reminder/demand for payment or the e-mail that is sent along with the reminder/demand for payment, the placeholder is replaced by the actual detail to which it was referring.

(!) You cannot place these placeholders in the footer of your invoice layout. Only the placeholder for the structured message can be placed in the footer.
